Cinderella

Performed on Friday 25th January 2002, Saturday 26th January 2002,
Friday 1st February 2002 and Saturday 2nd February 2002

For our 12th pantomime we produced Cinderella, for the second time. Many of the original 1993 cast featured again, although some found that the costumes had shrunk in the loft. This production welcomed a new pianist to our group and featured our most ambitious panto sets and lighting effects yet.

The cast of Cinderella

About 60 lights were used in the production. If all were used together this would total 31,000 Watts of power. Pictured here is the lighting gantry above the stage. Additional special lights were used in certain scenes, such as these spectacular flame effects in the ballroom.

Following this production we were awarded this Certificate of Merit for Technical Achievement by the Arts Council of Bexley.
