Mother Goose was the ninth pantomime production by the Players in their current incarnation. The established traditions of not repeating a story and finding another brave mortal to play Dame have continued- indeed Simon seems to have taken to high heels as if born to the task. Baddies however are a different kettle of fish, many are called but few are chosen to endure the wrath of the assembled younger element. With Fairy Sunbeam to right wrongs and banish baddies with no-nonsense authority, Mark Foster directs panto for the first time...
